Air Technology Hosts Next Champions of Innovation - March 26, 2009

The third of the “Champions of Innovation” programs, to include a tour and a presentation, will be held at Air Technology Group, on March 26, 2009, at 8:45 a.m.  Air Technology Group is located at 2884 Horseshoe Drive South, Naples FL 34104.  This program is the third in a series that is a component of the Economic Development Council’s “Project Innovation,” an exploration into the innovation economy and how to develop a sustainable economy.
           
“Champions of Innovation offers a first-hand look at local companies that are innovation pioneers,” comments EDC President and CEO Tammie Nemecek.  “We believe there are important lessons to be learned about innovation right here in our own community.”
           
The third program will explore Air Technology Group, which includes Air Technology, Inc. an aviation parts company, and Air Technology Engines, a FAA Certified Repair Station that specializes in the overhaul, repair and conversions of helicopter engines, transmissions, and components.  More information on Air Technology Group is available at www.airtechnology.com 
           
Previous Champions of Innovation events included site visits to 4what interactive and Parker Aerospace, future Champions of Innovation programs include Airflyte (April 23), Arthrex (May 14), and Neighborhood America (June 4.)  Participation in the programs is by reservation only; registration fee is $10 and no on site registration will not be available.
